Hi! I’m Shannon.

I've been passionate about the performing arts — both as a lover and performer — for as long as I can remember. When I made the decision to move to New York City, I had many dreams, but I never could have imagined spending the next decade working behind the scenes at New York City Opera, one of the country's most prestigious opera companies. During my tenure there, I managed artist and soloist contracts while coordinating performance logistics across a variety of venues — from The Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center to Bryant Park's outdoor stage, and intimate private events in donors' homes. This experience allowed me to build strong relationships with exceptional vendors, venues, and partners who remain invaluable collaborators today.

While I have since moved on from New York City Opera, my time there revealed my true passion: producing beautiful, memorable artistic events. The relationships I cultivated during those years became the foundation for Sip & Sing Events. Our debut event at the City Opera Thrift Shop in spring 2025 was a resounding success — world-class opera and musical theater performers entertained guests with beloved favorites while patrons browsed and shopped at their leisure. The evening's success made me wonder: why stop there?
